Creating My Record Label

From my last post on researching designs for my record label I started drawing some ideas to decide how I wanted it to look.

Here are some designs
I drew to picture how
I wanted my Record Label to look.

I also made a list of names I through of down the side of the page so I had a name ready to draw my final design.

This is my chosen end design, I choose to make my label in this way because I thought it could be recognisable to my audience as its very simple but I believe it will fit with my music video perfectly. I decided on the name 'Drifin' Records' because the 'in' instead of 'ing' made the name seem more cool to my audience and also more rememberable. I would like to design my logo in white because I feel it will look best when onto my music video.

I edited my logo in photoshop in the same way I edited my poster, I look my font chosen which was the same was my posters and wrote 'Drifin' Records' on the online software I then copied this into photoshop where I used the selection tool to select my writing to then colour the writing white.
I then looked onto photoshop to find myself a png palm tree, in which i selected and painted white.
I then duplicated the palm tree and put both side by side of my driftin' records.

Once I finished my creation, I merged visible my work so all my separate objects became one. I then saved this edit as a png, this meant that the background is transparent so I could then place my logo onto my music video and other places it needs to be and I wouldn't have to do anymore editing to get rid of the background.
