Skrillex

Born January 15th 1988, 

He is known professionally as Skrillex, Skrillex is an American Electronic Dance Music Producer, a DJ, a singer, a songwriter and a musician. Two of Skrillex's songs were counted in the Top 10 on the 'most played songs' on facebooks site in 2011 He’s done quite a few remixes with artists including Bruno Mars’ ‘Just The Way You Are’ and Black Eyed Peas’ ‘Rock That Body’. He’s also collaborated with the surviving members of The Doors on the track ‘Breakin’ A Sweat’.

         Tijs Michiel Verwest, Better known by his stage name 'Tiesto) born 17 January 1969. Is a Dutch DJ and record producer from Breda. Tiesto was named "the Greatest DJ of All Time" by Mix magazine in a poll voted by the fans. In 2013, he was voted by DJ Magazine readers as the "best DJ of the last 20 years".He is also regarded as the "Godfather of EDM (Electronic dance music)" by many sources.  He has been known to be associated with:

Avicii

Tim Bergling- Better known as Avicii was born the 8th September 1989. Avicii is a Swedish musician, DJ, remixer and record producer.He was ranked third on the DJ Magazine in 2012 and 2013 and has been nominated twice for a Grammy Award, once for his work on "Sunshine" with David Guetta in 2012 and once for his song "Levels" in 2013. Some of his most famous songs are "I Could Be the One" with Nicky Romero, "Wake Me Up", "You Make Me", "X You", "Hey Brother", "Addicted to You", "The Days", "The Nights", "Levels", "Waiting for Love", "Without You" and "Lonely Together". He released his debut studio album, True, in 2013. It received generally positive reviews from music critics, peaked within the top ten in more than fifteen countries and topped the Australian, Swedish, Danish and US charts.

David Guetta

He was born the 7th of November 1967 and is a French DJ, songwriter, record producer and remixer.His first album being, Just a Little More Love, in 2002. Later, he released Guetta Blaster(2004) and Pop Life (2007).

Guetta achieved mainstream success with his 2009 album One Love which included the hit singles "When Love Takes Over", "Gettin' Over You", "Sexy Bitch", and "Memories", the first three of which reached number one in the United Kingdom. The 2011 follow-up album, Nothing but the Beat, continued this success, containing the hit singles "Where Them Girls At", "Little Bad Girl", "Without You", "Titanium", and "Turn Me On". He is among the first DJs to get into the EDM scene and is known as the "Grandfather of EDM.

Researching artists involved with the electronic music genre I intend to do made me realise how electronic music artists are all well- known and great at what they do. I also have seen how I need to make my music video be as good as the artists i'm looking up to. As well as the growth in this genre to be hitting so many charts and being so successful.
