Research into my chosen artist / Emailing the artist for permission

My Chosen artist is 'oceans' 

The artist isn't particularly well known and it was very difficult to find them, after a lot of research I managed to find the band on facebook where they promote there music the most ,they also explained bout the song I am doing for my music video and why they chose to do this. I managed to find their email to ask if I could be able to use it for my A2 Project.
